Rossmoor Planning Committee

Rossmoor Planning Committee: The RPC is an entirely volunteer organization composed of Rossmoor residents dedicated to the principle that Rossmoor needs to take control of its future by offering Rossmoor residents the opportunity to decide for themselves if they want to incorporate and become the City of Rossmoor. The RPC is composed of an Executive Committee, a Publicity/Marketing Committee, a Fund Raising Committee, a Business Relations Committee and an Elections Committee. Currently, approximately 60 Rossmoor residents are active in serving in the RPC. If you’d like to volunteer, please contact the RPC.

Applicant: The Applicant is the Rossmoor Community Services District (RCSD). The RCSD is the entity representing Rossmoor that submitted the application to incorporate and the filing fee to LAFCO. As such, their role is to be the community’s interface to LAFCO and the County, to determine the services and the level of services that the new city will require and to negotiate
with LAFCO and the County concerning the Comprehensive Fiscal Analysis and revenue neutrality. The RPC and RCSD are working closely together on incorporation and have liaison positions to make sure that communications are always current.
